More Aggression Needed For Laois - Stephen Duff

The O'Moore County were well beaten by Dublin last time out.

Laois will have to overcome their fear of coming forward, and they need to bring more aggression in the tackle.

That's the O'Moore County's manager's review of his sides performance after they fell to a 5-19 to 0-1 loss to Dublin in the Leinster Ladies Senior Football Championship on Sunday.

Stephen Duff says his backs played with too much fear in the first half, and believes Dublin are much closer to the edge when it comes to tackling aggressively.

He says he told the players at half time to play the right way in the second half, even if it cost them more goals:

Laois return to championship action against Kildare this weekend,  at the Hawkfield Centre of Excellence on Saturday.

Throw in is set for 4pm.

On Sunday Offaly host Wicklow in the intermediate Leinster Championship, while Westmeath are in Enniscorthy on the same day to play Wexford, both those games begin at 2pm.
