    The Save Our Shannon Organisation will hold an information meeting for all farmers, business owners and residents who have been affected by flooding in the Shannon, Suck and Little Brosna Callows since July 2023. This meeting will be held in Luker's, Shannonbridge, Co. Offaly on Wednesday 8th May at 8.30 p.m.

    Anam Cara Supporting Parents after Bereavement monthly meeting takes place in The Mullingar Park Hotel next Wednesday 8th May at 7:15pm. They welcome any bereaved parent, regardless of the age of the child or circumstances. No need to register, just arrive on the evening. See: anam cara.ie

    Wines Direct ‘Unsung Heroes’ tasting events take place in the Mullingar store on Thursday 9th May at 7.30pm & in Athlone on Saturday 11th at 4pm. An hour and half of wine facts and fun showcasing 8 of the unsung heroes from Winesdirect Range. Tickets are available in-store or at winesdirect.ie for €25 with beautiful cheeses and nibbles.

  • Suicide Bereavement Support Awareness Evening

    Suicide Bereavement Support Awareness Evening takes place on 9th May at 7pm in the Tullamore Court Hotel. Providing information, advice and support for those who have recently been bereaved through suicide or who are supporting someone recently bereaved.
    Speakers on the evening are from PIETA and HUGG. Refreshments and opportunity to chat and get information offered to all and everyone is welcome to attend.
